Jingle Jingle
A classmate gave me that nickname for being the girl with the backpack full of keychains. I had so many that I would be jingling wherever I went. I couldn’t even walk into the school library without disrupting my fellow classmates.

When you called the other day and put me on the line with your friends I was a bit surprised.
What surprised me more was what your friends had to say about you. I forget his name but he was nice to point out what a “nice chap” you were. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone describe a friend like that before. Granted I’ve heard “nice guy” but...
To be honest, I am sometimes a little disappointed when you are busy and we cannot talk. But I cannot be selfish. I understand that being busy means having less time to talk, but it does not mean less love.

My first bug fix
Today I was assigned my first bug to fix. It was a sev4 bug but every little bug must be squashed!
With the help of my deskmate Chris, he helped make sure I downloaded the correct source code (because the code I downloaded last week was the wrong project) and showed me how to generate the reports and recreate the bug.

Garbage day
Today I noticed that our house brought out the following garbage and recycling boxes:
3 regular sized blue recycling boxes
1 extra large sized blue recycling box
2 regular garbage cans
2 garbage bags (one with grass clippings, the other half full of garbage)

Updates - August 24th
Quick update on what’s been going on in my life. Besides going down to the office these days to work on the pet project, I haven’t been up to much.
